lol yeh the dollar is so weird right now.

Yesterday I had to pay for $5000usd in stock. The dollar rate I got was $0.627. Then this morning it was at $0.67. How spewing do you think I was missing out on that extra 4.3cents. An extra $200 odd just in the space of 12 hours from when I did the transfer till the next morning when it had gone up.

I thought that said $500usd at first, then I read the part about you missing out on $200 and I was thinking "what the hell happened in those 12 hours?! did it get down to $0.10?"

Geez that sucks, is there some kind of rebate form where you can say "the currency rate changed again, I want my $200 back" I'm pulling out my hair waiting for some blu-ray movies to ship. RRP is $55, now its $35, now its $45 - just send me the damn blu-rays already!

Atm its at a fairly high US dollar = AU$0.814091. Considering how bad it was in October '08 (falling to 61 cents) its a massive improvement and I hope it'll only go even higher! US dollar = AU$10? Will we be seeing lower prices soon Fazman?

Not that its really related but I've been ordering other stuff from the US lately and I'm kinda getting annoyed that it is raising especially when some of my orders go up to $300. Do I buy now or wait? The mind boggles

Last July £1.00 = Euro 1.26
Two weeks ago £1.00 = Euro 1.02
Yesterday £1.00 = Euro 1.08

Am going on holiday to France on 16th June. When to buy Euros? Whenever, I'll choose wrong, I expect.

Any word on the website revamp fazman? It really is showing how dated it is with that tiny message box about the mochas (I can't even read a single line using Firefox). Also I hate how the audio keeps on being activated without clicking on anything, I always have to click on some link to make sure I skip it. Its like those animated emoticon ads on certain websites where if you so much as hover your mouse pointer over it they emit a sound. When I had my old 5.1 speakers + subwoofer I casually visited a website and a booming "YATTA" noise came out of my speakers and nearly made me fall off my chair thinking "what the fuck was that?!"

that video is a weird one, its supplied to us by the US store, but they are all flash files and Im not sure if there is a way to have them work without volume or not ever start upon page load.

Im not to good with flash, so if any of u have an idea feel free to post it

This is a really easy website to use http://www.longtailvideo.com/

They charge you for commercial use (1 website = 39 euros but its for a lifetime) but its so easy to use (and you can test it out without paying anything) and you can adjust it to how you want with full controls including fullscreen, size, volume, play/pause so it'll only load up if you click on it. At the bottom of the free sample page it gives you a source code so you can copy & paste it on your website. I did a sample of some *.flv files and they worked terrificly - which are hosted on various sites like here:

If you want I can try and find a program to convert *.swf to *.flv - it may work with *.swf links but I couldn't find any examples to use. A lot of websites use this exact type of player, I'm not too aware of other websites that allow an easy flv player for commercial use (may want to google it)

The problem you're having at the moment is that you're just putting a link in there without any source code so it's very limited to controls and correct ratio

Since your web designer has disappeared let me know if you want me to conjour up some images since I've got Adobe Photoshop CS3 now. After modifying my forum I'm getting used to coding too and tutorials always help me a lot if I'm stuck and want to do something in particular.

yeh thats the video directly from the US store, i dont think I am allowed to take that one.

I did some searching and because I dont have the .fla files there is no way I can work out to add controls to the videos.

But I am still searching.
