With the Australian Air Express orders, we were at first told that they would attempt to deliver the parcel once and leave a card if no one was there to collect. This would direct the customer to either go to the local post office or back to the local depot, which ever was closer.

It was found that this was only done in Brisbane as each state has their own ideas on what they should do.

After finding this out we found out that AAE will charge us an additional $6.50 for every attempted deliver that's not receipted.

Now we realise you guys don't want to pay this extra shipping fee, and would not be able to hand those extra charges on, so the next best option was to use Authority To Leave Stickers (ATL's)

So when choosing where to have your order shipped, it is always best to send to a location you can sign for it, or have it sent care of the local post office
