Well, after randomly running across an Australian sight for the FL, and after reading a heap of forum topics, Friday 3rd August, 2007, I ordered a PL ST... Truthfully, not sure why I ordered this type, but definitely not regretting it.
I do admit, I'm the kind of person who changes his mind every 5 minutes, and I'm sure Pash will agree wholeheartedly with that ... On Sunday, I had a sudden change of heart and tried to change my order to the SB, but unfortunately, was too late. The fact that it was about midnight Sunday didn't help, let alone changing my mind the day before it was supposed to be sent
Well, after all the fun and games, my brand new FL arrived some time today (Tuesday) and was waiting for me on my desk when I got home from work. As well as being indecisive, I can be a bit impatient, especially after an 8 hour day working, so I just wanted to rip it open and try it right there and then. Fortunately I had enough sense to go through the steps, filled the sink with hot water, submerged it and left it there for about 3mins (like I said, impatience ), lubed up and had my first FLight...
As I'm sure most of you can sympathise, I can't seem to find the words to explain it, lol... It was utterly amazing. Aye, good review there! The smooth inserts do eat more lube, so just keep that in mind so you don't catch any nasty rugburns! It has happened before! If you want to mix it up, you can texturize the smooth inserts yourself! A couple of guys have done it over on the US forums and loved it! I'll post a link if you are interested!
