Full Version: Long term use & smell?

Ok, so I just got a butt fleshlight a few days ago and have given it some really good workouts. Overall I'm really impressed, very satisfied with the purchase. But, I'm wondering what's the best way to deal with accumulative smells & odors?

I'm a fairly clean & sanitary person by nature, so I always clean/wash up before I use it, plus! I'm cut, so I don't have to worry about any added foreskin ikiness. But let's face it, our penis'/bodily fluids don't exactly smell like a bed of roses and I'm just concerned that over time the gel insert won't smell exactly inviting.

Also, my girlfriend has been curious about using with me, and I'm worried she might be turned off by any long term odors or something, not too mention how embarrassing it might be for me.

So...... for veteran Fleshlight users, what's the best to keep it sanitary and most of all smelling good, without slowly damaging it.

Awww whatsamatta.. you no like that funky smell??? hehehe

Welcome to the Aussie Forum G-Fresh!

If your Inserts are washed and dryed after each use then you should not encounter any such smells. I have had my inserts for quite a while now probably coming up to 2 years and none of them smell bad. You will get odours if you don't clean them after each use and or don't allow your insert to dry properly and mold develops on the inside of your insert. To cover all bases simply wash your insert with hot water.. HOT water helping to kill germs. Go to your local supermarket or chemist and get hold of some rubbing alcohol to clean it once every few uses, again also helping to clean away any bacteria.

Also if you want to keep them silky smooth after washing and drying you can dust your inserts in cornflour. Talcum powder is also ok to use and is slightly scented so this will keep them smelling nice if that is your main concern.

Cheers

reading your post made me think that you dont wash your inserts after every use? If thats the case, then there is your problem. You cant leave that shit in there man! Its gonna stink to high heavens. Follow Passion's advice and make sure your FLs are cleaned after every use.

Yep to all of the above, G-FRESH man.... Also, to add to Lovely Pashy's post- It's Isopropyl alcohol, and available as "ISOCOL" in the medical section of Large supermarkets here in OZ.
Cheers mate- happy butt pluggin (I, too, am a proud Butt connisseur).

Reading this post made me think about a problem that is surfacing for a few U.S FLyers...the "boogers"! One particular member called Somnet has been experiencing this problem with his FL. Unfortuanetly for him, there doesn't seem to be a solution for this nasty problem. Have any of you guys had this problem with your FL's? The link to his thread is here: Somnet's Thread

BTW, welcome to the forums G-Fresh! May you continue to enjoy your Butt FL and i hope you don't experience the "booger" monster. In terms of odour control...just follow Pash's advice, she's the FL Doctor around here!

My Lady had a mild case of the boogers, nothing as severe as those, only on the outside and they weren't black either. It's like a residue that bunches together on the surface, I noticed it a few months after getting my FL. But after a couple of months and a very hot water (not boiling) wash they disappeared entirely, they were actually floating in the bathroom sink after I left the insert in there to soak after a session.

As far as bad smells go, mine smells a bit "rubbery" but not like it has anything growing in it. For my own privacy I can't leave my FL out to air for extended periods but it is always dry before it goes to it's hiding place.
