since the last post was made on here.

Guessing everyone must be as busy as I am.

Currently I am busy with fleshlight, as per usual. Kitchen work is busy, which is always good, and this weekend I am showing a kitchen at the building and home show at the RNA in brisbane from the 27th feb to the 7th March to drum up some more clients.

The next time I actually get a day off will be March 13 sad.gif

I'll pop some pics up of the kitchen I have designed for the display once its all setup. It's not massive since its coming out of my own pocket, but it will have the look and all the specialty products needed to make it top notch

I have been away from home; looked in vain for a posting each day...

Will look forward to seeing the exhibition kitchen - something special, I'll bet.

How is Pash? We have not "seen" her for a long time.
fazman
she is good as well, very busy with offline stuff too right now, but I think the weekend just passed has seen the end of that for now.
countrydude
yeah like everyone else been having a quick look for any activity and then moving on to the next job just as quick.
i actually have a new job now whereby i work nights. this was supposed to give me the day time to have more
"me" time but no just means i have more time to do more stuff lol.
still its all good. hope the exhibition goes well faz

fazman

I have a feeling that you will NOT be short of work for some time to come, after a few hundreds of people have had a look at your standards.
That there will also be some envy from among the "competition" I have NO doubt at all.

It looks super, Faz. I will look at the "better" photos when they are posted, to admire your work once more.
fazman
first day down, I ran out of business cards and got around 25 quotes from it. Im going to be so flatout trying to get it all sorted out
countrydude
sounds like a successful exhibition already faz. glad to hear it all went well. success is the best praise you can give yourself hey.

Hey all,

I think I've just been busy at work and I've been going out a lot recently and enjoying my recent single life. Went to the Soundwave festival on Friday which took a lot out of me (being in 34ºC sun for 12 hours, and listening to great rock music)

How is Pash? We have not "seen" her for a long time.

lol, probably busy with her Swingles parties biggrin.gif

(P.s. If you look at the link, that is not my video recording. I just got it off Youtube as an example)
jonnyW
Looks like I was right, but to for me to predict success for your work was a "no-brainer" anyway.

25 quotes, even at, say, a mere 20% conversion ratio,
should make the thing a success, with more to come - lots more - before the end of the show...

Congratulations, Faz, and my very best wishes.
fazman
here you go, here is the link to my blog post on the home show kitchen with all the pics I took

I went to the sexpo yesterday for the first time, it was pretty different, saw a couple of fleshlights for sale there too.
fazman
cool, more than likely at club x as they usually have the originals there

Yeah I have been pretty busy, I been working if i haven't been working i am either sleeping or working on my own car, I been having little peeks at whats going on in the not very active forums so i haven't posted much.

That is one mad arse Kitchen Faz, don't see why it wouldn't bring more clients.

Countrydude, what are you doing for your new job?
countrydude
supervisor at the local rsm club. pretty cruisy job really. loving it so far
fazman
is that meant to be the local rsl club CD? Not sure what a RSM is

I got my first go ahead on one of the quotes from the home show last night, nothing major but still a good start to the show.
jonnyW
"I told you so" That is quick, though. Good on you, Faz.
countrydude
nah ours is an RSM one of only 2 rsm's in nsw. its owned by the RSL but was built as a Returned Servicemans Memorial Club as opposed to the more common RSL's which are service clubs. basically the same thing just slightly different wordings in basic constitution and directorship of the club.
countrydude
oh and congrats faz on the go ahead. even one is a success and makes it worthwhile but im sure there will be many more to come. it only takes one to start the intricate web of "word of mouth" business as well which as we all know is quite often the most successful form of advertising available.
fazman
thanx guys, and the RSM makes sense now.
jonnyW
Well, really, where is everybody? I have been checking, but NO new posts.
Where are you all - you, the regulars?

Tomorrow, I will make an effort, and post some new pretty pictures to see if anybody is awake!
fazman
lol jonny, I think everyone has been busy. I come in a few times a day to see if there is anything needing answering, but otherwise I'm flat out with both businesses and some new ideas Im trying to put into place.
jonnyW
Did you get good business from the exhibition? I guess that's why the "Flat out" on the kitchens, anyway.

I remember, from being a one-man business, that when you get really busy, you dare not ease off, in case - a couple of months down the line - the orders slack off. Once went three years without a holiday, before I realised the business was NOT going to collapse if I took a couple of weeks off. Stupid, wasn't I?
fazman
the show was pretty good, still doing quotes and will be for the rest of the year from it I reckon. Got a go ahead on a $12k kitchen yesterday from the show so thats good to see happening.

I know what ur saying about the one man business. Your always thinking the whole thing relies on you, but Ive found that I can let go and plan some life time for myself quite well, just gotto plan it in well ahead of schedule smile.gif
