Ice Lady Wonder Wave. A tough choice between that and the STU. I wasn't sure if the STU was big enough or if it would stretch out enough. The fact that the STU doesn't come in Ice made the decision easy. That's a good thing for Fleshlight because I'm now eager to get a Pink Lady STU.

Constructive criticisms:

The end cap:

• The thread on it is weak. Easy to cross-thread and hard to remove when it does. Maybe a greater thread pitch and higher thread crest would be better. Or a locking mechanism like the lid has.
• It's hard plastic. I'm tipping that it'll get brittle and crack over time. With the end cap being the only moving part used in operation, it needs to be more robust. Perhaps one way to help prolong the life of the end cap is to put a thin rubber O-ring on the end of the FL (where the breather holes are) so that less force is required to seal it. I'm gonna grab one today. Perhaps an even better option would be to make a case from aluminium or stainless and use a plastic thread on the end-cap, much like the way a thermos lid is designed. A thermos design would also make a good disguise for this toy
• If you get a bit of lube on your hands, the end cap is really hard to grab. It'd much easier to handle if it was knurled around the outside. In the meantime, a good substitute would be to wrap it with the tape that physios use to strap joints. A better way to fix it would be to heat up a metal skewer and melt a few shallow ridges into it.

Suction:

• The suction on these things is great, but when the end cap is fastened and the "chamber" is has a raging cock in it, the only way air can exhaust or draw in is around the edges at the top of the FL, which as most of you will know makes a pretty horrid sound. Sticking a plastic wine cork in the end of the insert would inhibit airflow between the insert and the case. It might resolve that horrible noise and give even better suction in the process. I'll let you guys know next time I open a bottle.

Suggestions for FL owners:

• Cleaning the insert is like cleaning a tube. A pipe-cleaner with very soft bristles or a soft toothbrush would probably be better alternatives to turning the insert inside-out. Rinse and repeat.
• Forget using hair dryers and stuff. Roll it in a towel or just pad it down, then roll it in cornflour and pour a bit down into the insert. Instantly dry! The cornflour coagulates inside the insert, but washes off easily next time you heat it. I just keep a tupperware container with cornflour in the bathroom and mark it as "anthrax"
• Hiding it is easy. Keep one of the cardboard boxes that it came with, or hijack the box for a whiskey bottle. Maybe the bottle-o will have some spares floating around.
• Surface mounting is also easy. A sheet of rubber or a block of foam rubber works very well. I had some foam blocks from some packaging that I'd kept. I think we're on the wrong track with trying to mount it though. We should be working out how to turn it into a fucking machine!

Suggestion for FL manufacturers:

You've got Mr Limpy. This stuff would make awesome boobs. As an added bonus, those boobs would probably double well as a surface mount. Imagine those boobs jiggling while you're going at it, or just lubing the boobs and tit-fucking those

Overall it's a great product and way better than I expected.

Ok i have a few answers for you on this, we also need to remember we are a wholesaler to Fleshlight US, so we have no say in how they are manufactured or what the do with the lines.

The end cap was redesigned due to the original style sticking too often and not being able to get it off. This was one of the main reasons that they went with the new thread style.

Im not sure the plastic cracking over time from being hard would be an issue, some of my fleshlights are nearing 5 years old and none of the cases are cracked. Changing it to aluminium or stainless would make it more expensive to be produced. It is an adult toy and if it was well over $200 a unit due to using metals for the case I doubt we'd sell any where near as many of them.

Sealing with an O ring is something that alot of flighters do. There is a few tips on modifications around the forums here for this. Any extra suggestions for the mods and suction control would be great to hear about and can also be posted in the fleshlight manuals forum for others to easily find

Using a pipe cleaner is a use at own risk option, I don't think we would recommend it, but if it works, go for it

Putting the cornflour anywhere on the insert when it is even slightly wet, is inviting mould to grow. Always make sure its dry first.

Lasty the boob are something thats been asked for of fleshlight US since they first released the fleshlight, it doesn't seem to be something they will ever make, but then who knows, one day they might just surprise us

Yeah! with a metal part, I don't think it will be easy to clean.
If it is any Metal other then Stainless steel you could get rusting as a result of cleaning
and if it is stainless steel faz can back me up on this as he builds kitchens, you would have to polish it so it dosn't look so bad.
and the plastic used, well to me they don't feel like cheap plastics, although it would be cool to have like a 'pimped' Fleshlight made from metal

As the boys have added their input in regards to your feedback on the make and design of the Case and Insert... I will add my years of experience to the board also. As Faz mentioned the case design was changed and I will be honest in that while the new case looks slick. The old case is somewhat tighter for air.
But as boys will be boys and supe up, or modify just about anything (especially Fleshlight) to make it better. They have and usually share with us the modifications for these Tim the Tool Man Taylor changes!

I usually recommend most users purchase another full unit with a case. Then you not only have another storage unit for your insert. But you can modify each of your cases to suit 'suction on full' or adding the O-ring. My suggestion here is to drill a hole into the end cap and glue it onto one case. Then you can allow yourself the one finger control method of air with the in-stroke v the out-stroke. When your ready for that fast thrusting session that feels like she has just cum and allowing you to move freely in and out, where the end cap has to go, its a quick change over to another case with end cap removed and away you go. This by the way is where you will truly understand those waves!

The way in which you clean your unit is exactly how I do mine. A bath, laid on a towel to more or less dry off a little then using the towel to dry any excess water off and then I sprinkle Curash (w/cornstarch) over them which is like powdering a baby's bum... (I think it's the smell of the Curash)

As Faz said.. and in the last 6 years or so that I have been involved... the most requested thing for Fleshlight has been Boobs.... and we live in hope.

O-rings. Yes, I found one to be essential with the old case, to get the maximum enjoyment from my original PL(June). Once I had the new case, with my Lia19 WW, I tried an O-ring, but soon did'nt bother; likewise with my (now) favourite Paris (Lotus) and the newest, Tera Patrick, with the Twista.

I find the range of suctionbetween "tightly closed" and "unscrewed" to be enough. I would definitely NOT glue on an end cap, with a drilled hole - just this once, I
disagree with the accumulated wisdom which Pash has...

But, we are all different, especially when it come to our sexual preferences. YOU must try what you want, don't let me influence you - except to try more than one texture of Fleshlight!

Sloth, the textures I know about from personal experience are:

Original Pink Lady (smooth)

Lia19 (Wonder Wave)

Paris (Lotus)

Tera Patrick (Twista)

That is the order in which I bought them. NONE are less than good.
My current preference is for the Lotus, about 70-80% of the time.
Twista is very intense, rather different and for special occasions only (for me)
Wonder Wave, and the original, are also great for occasional use.

May not be the same for you, but as they say, if you're not in the game, you can't win!

I appreciate what you're saying, and yeah it's unfortunate that there's such a hefty premium on adult products. The main point was that the end cap definitely needs work. As for plastic cracking, it's a hard plastic which means it's inelastic. I've accidentally cross-threaded this thing a couple of times, momentarily pulling it far enough out of shape to get me worried. I guess we probably need to be careful with the temperature if the water when we wash it. I've had a couple of different types of hard plastic tumblers crack over time. They're about six years old now. My guess is that the expansion and shrinkage from washing them in hot water has contributed to that. I might stick to wiping the case down with warm water and then wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol.

I ended up slipping a thin rubber band over the end. Works really well!

I disagree with that. The inserts retain water for a long time. When they're sticky they have moisture on them. You can air dry them for days on end and they still remain sticky (read: still contain moisture). Cornflour is widely used as an absorbent, including as a key ingredient in commercial absorbents. It extracts the moisture from the insert and will dry very quickly, allowing us to brush the excess cornflour off. It's generally accepted that mould needs a biological food source and moisture. It also needs time (the same goes for harmful bacteria). The tricky bit is getting at the inside of the insert. Perhaps if cornflour isn't a good option, it might be wise to use a disinfectant (eg. alcohol).

LOL - they'd make a killing off that. I'm wondering if the development team might be all ladies or all gay. Focal point seems to be purely on the cock. Not that it's a bad thing!
