I'd been meaning to get myself one of these for ages now.
http://www.colemanaustralia.com.au/templat...ntCategory=1171Its a hot water on demand system for camping. Takes 5seconds to start getting hot water. Perfect for showers, dishes and coffee whilst camping in the bush.
I picked it up today for $434 with the shower attachment, gas line and carry bag added in. It should keep fazchicky happy whilst camping now, especially since she is the one wanting a hot shower whilst we're away. I normally just jump in the creek

That's not camping as I knew it! Pure sybaritic luxury. Good for Fazchicky!
Seriously, what a good idea, and not really very expensive.

We definitely don't camp the way I used to as a kid with my parents.

That is pretty cool, and not just limited to camping.
If I go camping it will Be to get away from as much technology as possible.

lol the problem is, I still need technology whilst camping, otherwise fleshlight customers don't get their orders

So might as well have the luxuries that go along with technology.
We are pretty much self sufficient now with the hot water system. The camper has a 12 volt battery on the side which powers our lights inside, and also has a converter for if we really need 240volt power. It also has a small solar panel attached to it that trickle feeds power to it continuously in daylight. The on the hilux I have dual battery power, which we use to power our camping fridge and anything else that uses 12volt power, that lasts around 4 days on the fridge alone, but doesnt take much to charge it back up since its attached to the car

It is like a home away from home, do you ever get a break from selling of the Fleshlight?
Is it a Hobby or a second job to you?

I reckon it's a crusade, and happily one that pays!

we dont really get a break in a sense as its something that needs dealing with every day of the week. But its also fortunate enough that we can do it from anywhere in the world, so traveling and working at same time is possible.
The only tricky part is when I go away on a trip, I have to organize someone to pack the orders.
Its a second business to me

is that the blue toolbox looking one?
Pump on mine crapped out on 2nd use.
Hoses keep kinking, especially when hot.
fiddly to set temperature without it turning itself off.
I've replaced the pump with a small bilge pump.
next I'll be putting garden hose fittings on it and making up some better hoses.
I heat up a whole bucket of water to the desired temperature then use it as a basic pump.
still a great piece of kit though.
