seems to be quite from you all today

So I guess ill tell ya's what I got up to.

Started the day off packing a crap load of fleshlight orders to be picked up by 9am. Then I checked our bank account to see who had paid for the next days orders. This is how my day starts nearly everyday wink.gif

Figured I needed to get down into the shed and start building the next kitchen, but also knew I had my new iphone case arriving on the courier so figured Id wait for him to arrive so I could sign for it, so instead of working I finished off book 5 of the sword of truth since I was so close to the end.

About 10ish, I went down to the shed and started building the kitchen. Worked on this till 3ish, then went down to the local golf course to have a few beers with a mate of mine. Whilst we were there, we got into the groove and found out they did nice meals for dinner, so we both rang the wives, and arranged to have dinner at 6pm there.

And now Ive just gotten back after a nice day of work and relaxing smile.gif plus a few drinks under the belt.

Faz, that's a nice mixture of "work and play" - you are getting your life into the right balance, I reckon! smile.gif

My day so far (14.45 here);
Had early morning pot of tea about 07.00 (real English start), shower and a leisurely breakfast - more tea. Went into our charity office about 09.30, checked invoices and signed about 40 cheques for our Finance Officer, and then had a strategy meeting with our CEO. Turnover is now up to £1.3 million, all spent on helping people with mental health problems, in our town and district - population 150,000.

Home for a salad lunch, followed by ONE glass of Campbells Rutherglen muscat, all nice and sticky sweet. This is one I know you like...
Now settling down to catch up with some "snail mail" correspondence, after checking my e-mails and - important this - visiting this forum.

Next, will scour the net for any good new pics of Jenni and/or Iveta, and look at some of the recent postings of pics from you on here as well.
Will then try to improve some of the photos I took in France, for which I use Nikon's NX program, similar to Photoshop.

Later, after supper, with a glass of red wine, I shall relax with a good book, and maybe watch TV for an hour or so, with another glass; I normally watch only about eight hours a week, and most of that is news

So, a quiet day, as befits a man about to be 78.

No Name, I used to be a Management Consultant, working on logistics and inventory control.

I retired when I was 65, 13 years ago and now spend about 20 hours or so each week as the
Treasurer (= Finance Director) of a charity helping people with mental health problems (unpaid).

This keeps my brain working - I think - and it seems I am still achieving something useful in society.

Some of my other interests are reading, the internet, and learning more about good wine - much of it from Australia. rolleyes.gif

I got involved in this forum more than two years ago; my testimonials for my four FLs are on the forum somewhere,
and a lot of entries in the "Yummy" series of topics...

Adzy, I hope you slept well...
