I have looked at all avenues of the cost of these to buy from the US and by the time you pay for shipping and the variances in the $AUD we are very comparible, plus you get the bonus of getting it on next day delivery. Thats not an option from the US.

Yep sorry Jojn.. I have had all my fleshlights from the US and whether if be the minimum $49.95 or if its an STU then a little more, it has to be converted to AUD, plus $30 Fedex delivery the cost averages around what we are charging. It cost me over $170 for a 342 from fleshlight.com

I think you misunderstood that fleshlight.com is a US company and therefore all prices are in US dollars!

Also sex shops in Australia who have or have had fleshlights, are even MORE expensive than we are, they charge $125 for an original pink lady. So No we are not too expensive. Like Faz said we offer overnight express delivery from receipt of payment!

But having said that, by all means if you feel you will get it cheaper from the US then nobody is stopping you!

INITIALLY, i'd have to admit i had the same reaction to the price, i wasn't expecting anything close to their asking price...
When i was looking at the inserts on the US site, they seemed fairly cheap, even after i converted them back to aussie bucks they seemed fairly cheap so i was thinking maybe this aussie FL was kinda tryin to make a profit but then i realised that this was the price just for the inserts, dont forget that the hard casing also has (obviously) a price tag. So to be fair there prices are actually comparable if ur buying with out without a case, and probably even cheaper in the overall process of getting one of these babies for ur penis

Maybe as an incentive you guys should thrown in a free case in the 3 for 2 deal, but then again the 3 for 2 deal is already an excellent incentive in itself.

We still have yet to work out what the insert itself is worth, but have a fair idea on what to charge to make it comparible. So far no one has ordered just an insert by itself.

As to the 342 deal, its the same as the .com site. There is no case offered. But even that is comparible to the .com site in pricing.

There is a saving but by my calculations it's not much.

I want to get a Case and 3 inserts in the 3 for 2 deal.

From the US, the price structure is the following:

$70 for the 3 for 2 insert deal
$15.95 for the case
$24.95 for shipping
subtotal of $110.90 USD (I didn't use a calculator so check my maths! )
TOTAL after conversion = $192.95AUD (AUD = 0.74)

and with the info from the AU site, it would be:

$149.95 for the 3 for 2 insert deal
$24.95 for the case
and assuming shipping is no more than $10
TOTAL of $184.90

If I've missed something let me know, I can edit my post with gnarly powers.

I'm going to support local Australian business and buy locally, but if it becomes too much of a hassle with stock I'll just put in an order from the states.

if you ordered from the states its would take noticably longer to get across the border and trust me after a few days of not seeing any return for ur investment u will start to get slightly paranoid. i ordered something from canada once and it took about 45 days to get here, and i was emailing them like 2 times a week saying gimmie my money back i have no product yet, and they only replied once saying the product has been shipped blah blah blah

Quite right guys all our prices include the overnight express delivery in the costing, we have done our homework and made sure that the pricing is comparable with ordering from the US, with some discount in bulk ordering, quicker delivery time etc.

We want Australian men to have fleshlight readily available to them. You may even find that some inserts not available in the US we will have available to you here!

We actually dont offer a 342 deal on our site. We did initially but realised that by doing so we were only making $12 after costs and taxes. And on a $150 ticket, thats just not worth bothering with.

We were the only other site online that offered it. None of the other countries resellers do it, and after working out the costs I can see why.

The US site can offer it, because it doesnt cost them any extra to supply the 3rd insert other than manufacturing costs, which is negligable to them. for us it costs way to much to offer a third insert for free.

Even with the buy 3 save $35 we still dont make a great deal more, because the shipping is now included back into the deal, but its at least worth doing for us now.

And for you customers it means you get them faster and still supporting an aussie company

Cool Cheers, Fazman.... I guess it is a pretty small margin compared with the speed/ convenience that you guys offer. There are pro's & con's with both i guess- time factor, delivery factors, price. Guess i'll weigh it all up when i scrape the $ together.... sure, by then, I wont be able to wait a minute longer than i have to for the mighty trio!!!! I really want to support FL OZ where possible.

I did a quick comparison of the US costs and the AU costs.

Using US$1 = AU$1.286 (or roughly AU$1 = US$0.78)


The US inserts are US$40 (about AU$52), they are AU$80 in the AU site, but the AU site has free overnight shipping involved. If I add shipping from the US the site tells me it will be US$22, bringing the total to almost exactly AU$80.

For a full fleshlight with case, the US site is US$60 (AU$77), include shipping of US$22 and it words out to AU$106 (AU$105 from AU site).

So to get an insert by itself or a fleshlight with a case its about the same whether you get it from the US or Australia (except Australias a bit quicker and your supporting locals).



Unfortunately the deals arent as good

The US site has a "his & his" which is two fleshlights, one case and some lube. The same as the valentines day offer (AU$180). The his & his is US$100, plus US$22 shipping, so AU$157, which is AU$23 cheaper from the US site.

If your get the 3 for 2 inserts (no case) its US$80 on the US site plus US$25 for shipping, so AU$136, compared to the 3 offer on the AU site where its AU$205 (AU$69 more)

If you get a case as well as the 3 inserts, the US site is US$101, plus US$29 shipping, it works out to AU$167. To get 3 inserts and a case on the AU site it would cost you AU$68 more at AU$235.

So thats an extra AU$23(2+case+lube), AU$69(3) and AU$68(3+case). Even if you include GST (which you shouldnt have to for small orders, but would if you were ordering bulk amounts), the savings from the US site would be AU$14(2+case+lube), AU$51(3) and AU$40(3+case). The shipping from the US site is quoted at 1-3 days (most likely 3) so the US ones wont take a lot longer to get here.

I would really rather support the Australian site rather than the US site even if it was a little more, but unfortunately its a substantial amount more for the combo I would like to buy. Is there any chance there will be other deals to even up this gap a bit, or should I order from the US site?

Our prices are comparable even with the deals as you have shown in detail Mr Plow. However the US site is also the factory so the cost to them to offer a 342 deal is minimal and they can afford to do that. We still have to import every insert and pay duties and shipping into this country which im sure you can understand is not exactly a cheap venture. So we endeavour to pass on the best possible deals that we can. All our orders are ordered, paid and shipped inside a few days which the US has now got a delay of at least a week before your item is even shipped.

At this time we don't do a His and His deal although we will be organising one in the near future. We also don't have a 342 deal we did initially have one but then we were giving away a lot more than a free insert and it just wasn't viable for us to do, so its a 3 insert deal with a $35 saving.

Whilst the deals are cheaper in the US as you said earlier you are supporting local company and getting your orders in record time giving a good service. We make SURE we offer the best service and customer support.

We do thank all of our members and customers for their support Not everyone has credit card access and we make our item available to people wanting to netbank method of payment and not willing to do CC over the internet...something you also cannot do with the US site. They wholesale to us.. so they were always going to be able to do better than us in some respects.

So I guess what I'm saying is I'm happy with the service and the price.

I ended up buying mine from the US site. I'd have much rather ordered from the Australian site as the guys here are great. The dollar conversion from New Zealand to Australian was not as kind as the U.S. dollar and as Pash said, the 342 deal they have is unmatchable. The included freight on the Australian site doesn't include NZ so we have to pay even more freight on top of the price.

Even though I saved $100NZ by buying from the U.S. site, the service is certainly not as personal as here. I received several emails from ILF indicating they'd received my order and that they'd processed it. I had to track my order myself online with fedex to keep tracks on where it had got to.

Definitely thumbs up to Faz and Pash for the great site.
