Cleaning fleshlights is something that everyone has to do. What are the differant ways we all do this?

For myself, when I'm finished using my fleshlight, I turn the hot tap on in the bathroom sink, take the insert out of the case and hold the opening directly under the flow of the water.

Also I turn the fleshlight inside out and flush the water over it this was as well. I don't do this all the time, but every now and then it's needed just to make sure everything is out properly.

To dry them when I'm finished, generally I pop the insert loosely into the case with out the caps on and leave it sit on the edge of the sink so the water drains out of it naturally. Granted I don't have to worry about people seeing them out and not everyone can do this, but I find it works well for me.

As I live with two people I generally don't leave it out on the sink bench. My way is pretty simple. I just wash it as normal under the laundry sink as it's nice and big, try and rub out any soot (from clothes. blanket, hair etc) that may stuck itself to the Fleshlight as they are quite a dirt magnet being a sticky texture. Then, after draining (a few shakes perhaps), I just place in my walk-in-robe shelf on an angle and there is a doona cover there that soaks up any remaining drips (drys itself out pretty quickly too). I leave it like that for a day or two and can then place back in my draw.

My cleaning regime is very similar to faz's.
After the fun... Flush the insert with warm water. While doing that, restricting the out flow somewhat, so the tail of the insert momentarily balloons. Unlike faz, I have not felt the need to turn it inside out. Then I lie it down on a towel give the outside a wipe, then place it loosely in the case (tail downwards) to drain.
Some time later, I will remove the insert. Then give it a good powdering of Johnsons Baby cornflour. This absorbs any moisure and gives the insert a non-tacky feel. As well as a nice scent. smile.gif

I didn't know you could turn these inside out..

For me I had a similar idea to washing it, took out the insert and filled the canal up with hot water and then placed it on a towel next to an open bathroom window for a few hours. As for the plastic tube I washed it with my dishwashing (leaving it until last of course) to make sure no unpleasant smells remained

Haven't tried buying any cleaning products but will do soon (can't seem to find Isocol anywhere)

Hi ya'll..

I have a concern re: cleaning

I bought my FL about 3 months ago. Me and the GF love it! wink.gif

Lately there has been a gum build up, on the outside bit which slips into the case.. doesnt appear to be any inside at all
If you try to wash it over , it is quite gooey and difficult to remove, sticks to your fingers and , well looks bad.

Its not everywhere but certainly in a lot of places and noticeable.. we've tried soap and water and being sure it is completely dry ever since it first appeared.. but nothing is helping.

We wash it after 'almost' every use and rarely ejaculate in it... we don't use lube often my GF prefers her saliva.

I have read here the isopropyl might be the way to go and then the cornflour treatment?

Since reading about the cornflour thing, that's gonna be good, as it is extremely tacky unless we rinse it with cool water first.

any advice please?
Tnx

Hi Sensai, welcome to the forums. I will answer this question in here for you as my answer will be relevant to the thread, but please read the note at the top of this forum where it says only reply with tips for the training manual. Questions need to be posted in the questions forums.

With the cleaning, the worst thing you have done is use soap on the fleshlight. Our care and usage instructions that we send with all orders says not to use soap.

The only thing I can suggest at this time would be trying to clean it with the isopropyl. Maybe leave it soak in isopropyl and water overnight and see how it goes.

If you're insert is one of the Ice ones, then you will need to be aware that by using the cornflour on it to stop the stickiness will also discolour the Ice.

As with the washing after almost every use, I can only say that it needs to be done after every use every time. Leaving lube and deposits to dry on it without being cleaned will definitely not help the life span of your fleshlight.

With using saliva for lubrication, I cannot suggest either way, but I do imagine that since saliva does have acids in it to help break down food, that this may or may not hurt the fleshlight. I always use Lube with a little bit of water when it starts to dry out.

Hopefully this helps you get your fleshlight back to normal.

Just want to say that 'Johnson's Baby Powder - pure cornstarch' 255g (bought it at IGA for $3.90) works fantastic on sticky fleshlight sleeves biggrin.gif Wish I used it earlier since it actually came in a shaker and was much easier to use than having a bag of corn flour (only ever used that method twice).

mickerz; Oh, dear!
But I bet she would rather you had that, than resort to the wrong sort of woman! (and there are "wrong sorts" you know).

Besides, I like the grin you got; she sounds a nice lady, you're a lucky chap.
